An overview of issues involving the ongoing scourge of drunk diving.

In the interim of time that has since passed since my son's death, I have reviewed many articles on the Web describing heart rending tales similiar to my own experience. And these stories are certainly not confined to the United States alone, but like many social ills are common to the state of mankind, where alcohol is involved.  Nor will this website confine itself to the issue of  drunk driving alone.  As they pertain to drunk driving, I will discuss other social issues and policies including but not confined to criminal behavior linked to immigration.

Jonathan was killed by a Mexican National.  It is not clear yet whether he was here legally or not.  It is clear, however, based on the information shared with us by the Utah justice dept prosecuting attorneys, before and after the allocution and sentencing,  he was and is not a U.S. citizen, and he had a criminal record going back to 2005. While I do not fully understand the operational agreement Immigration and Customs Enforcement has with the  several states, as the maiming,  and slaughter of civilians and destruction of property continues, it is clear much more work and legislation needs to be passed to protect law abiding individuals residing within our (U.S. and state) boundaries.
